As part of the Technovation Challenge, teams must create and submit two videos about the app (demo video and pitch video). These videos are required components of the project submittal. This is how judges learn about your idea and your app.

What should the video include? What should you think about when selecting a video shooting space? What equipment should you plan for? Want to learn more about some free video editing tools? Come learn some tips about how to make a fun and informative video!

Adult Presence: If you are under 13 years old, an adult (parent, guardian, or team mentor) will need to attend the event with you.

Equipment/Software: If possible, please review what equipment (e.g. camera, microphone, cables, plug-ins, etc) and software (e.g. iMovie) is available to you and understand how to use them (e.g. on/off/record) prior to the event. If you are able to bring them to the event, the workshop would serve as a great opportunity to practice on the same equipment that you will be using for the videos.

100 Word App Description: We recommend students bring a copy (draft is ok) of the 100 word app description (also required for submission) to the workshop. This enables students to use this workshop to start working on a video for the Technovation Challenge submission.

Please note that this event is only open to Technovation[MN] 2019 Challenge participants.
