I developed my interest in computing and technology when I was eight years old, creating small games using Scratch. My interest in technology grew as I got involved in Technovation, as I was able to help my community which is something I am passionate about. Over the past few years, I led my team as a project manager, and we created several apps helping homeless, immigrants, and youth who are fighting mental illnesses. In the 2019 Technovation season, I was awarded the Sparks Senior Scholarship, and now, I am a Technovation Student Ambassador. I am also passionate about getting more girls involved in the STEAM fields, and I help mentor young girls to get them excited about learning about these fields.
